Items which arrive damaged will promptly be replaced. Any damaged item must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.

This return policy applies to online orders only. Any purchase made in-store does not qualify for a refund. In-store purchases qualify for store credit or exchange only within two weeks from date on receipt. Sale items are final sale.

SHIPPING POLICY

Shipping and handling rates based on package weight, size and destination. We offer three UPS shipping options to the continental US: UPS Ground Delivery; UPS 2nd Day Delivery; UPS Overnight Delivery. Separate shipping charges apply to each Ship To address. Occasionally, we may ship items separately, but you will not incur an additional shipping charge.

Most orders are processed and shipped within two business days after receipt of an order. Weekend and holidays are not counted as shipping days. UPS does not deliver to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

Please note that Hawaii, Alaska + Puerto Rico DO NOT qualify for the Free Shipping Promotion. Free Shipping over $50 applies solely to the continental U.S., and only for non-sale items.

Customary delivery time is 3 - 10 days from the date of shipment.

2nd Business Day Delivery in 48 Contiguous United States
Delivery time is by the end of the 2nd business day from the date of shipment.

Overnight Delivery in 48 Contiguous United States
Delivery time is by the end of the end of the next business day from the date of shipment.

NOTE: Signature Requirements. If you aren't likely to be home when a package is delivered, you may try leaving a note asking the driver to leave the package with a neighbor or building manager or call UPS with your tracking number to ask that it be delivered to your business.

International Orders
Please note that ALL international orders will be shipped every Tuesday via United States Postal Service only, delivery time 6-10 business days. International orders do not qualify for free shipping.

OUR RECYCLING PROGRAM

Sons + Daughters is dedicated to limiting the use of excess packaging materials when shipping items to our customers. When possible, we will only reuse boxes and packing supplies from what has been shipped to us or collected from local businesses. This helps cut the amount of needless materials that would otherwise find its way to local landfills, in addition to helping cut the cost of shipping for our customers.

So when you receive a beautifully wrapped gift from us, please do not expect a brand new cardboard box. Instead, expect a reused box. And if you see Styrofoam peanuts or bubble wrap inside, know that we are simply reusing them and doing our best to keep these materials from entering the waste-stream by recycling it. Thank you for your support and understanding.

GIFT WRAPPING

In keeping with our environmental goals to reuse and recycle as much as possible, here at Sons + Daughters, we use 100% recycled kraft paper for our larger items and 100% recycled kraft apparel boxes for clothing. For our in-store customers, we have our recycled newspaper gift bags, made by our Fair Trade vendor in India. These bags are made by hand and reuse old Indian newspapers to create a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind present packaging.

And as for our signature recycled atlas paper for smaller items, we are proud to announce that we have received our latest shipment of out-of-date maps and atlases from Rand McNally & Company (www.randmcnally.com), North America’s largest commercial maker of national and local maps, street guides and atlases. This generous donation keeps otherwise thrown away paper from our country’s landfills and makes for beautiful, unique gift wrapping for happy children and parents around the world!
